Attend a City of Stuart unveiling of the Historic Marker for the GFWC Woman’s Club of Stuart Clubhouse (1958). This non-profit organization founded in 1913 created the first library in Stuart and today provides college scholarships for Martin County girls and women in continuing education in addition to supporting other community needs. A small reception and Community Open House will follow with information tables, scrapbooks, and a video that celebrates the Club’s 110th anniversary at 729 SE Ocean Blvd. in Stuart.
