Stewardship Sundays at Blowing Rocks

Join us for Stewardship Sundays at The Nature Conservancy’s Blowing Rocks Preserve – a FREE volunteer opportunity every 2nd and 4th Sunday from January to May!

Contribute to land management practices through activities such as:

  • Beach Clean Ups
  • Invasive Plant Removal
  • Weeding
  • Trail Maintenance
  • Native Plantings
  • Community Science Surveys
  • And more!

Registration preferred, walk-ins welcome.

No experience is needed. Recommended for ages 8 and up.

Please note: Participants under 18 years old MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Don’t forget – bring a reusable water bottle and prepare to work outdoors! (sun protection, insect repellant, close-toed shoes required, and long pants recommended)

*Great way to earn hours for school, scholarships, or other community service requirements.

Preserve Staff will meet volunteers in front of the Beach Kiosk at 10:00 a.m. to provide a welcome and brief introduction to the activity.

Be sure to join the group by 10:10am, when staff will guide volunteers to the activity site.
