Blowing Rocks Preserve Mini Tour: Beach Tour

Join for a FREE 30-minute tour of Blowing Rocks Preserve’s oceanside habitats!

Experience what South Florida barrier islands looked like a century ago. Join this tour of our carefully restored preserve to discover its unique features. Along the way, we will discuss restoration efforts, plants and animals of importance, The Nature Conservancy’s local and worldwide conservation efforts, and ways you can help protect our natural resources.

30-minutes / 0.84 miles

Every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month from late February – May

Recommended for ages 5 and up.

No advance registration required, walk-ins welcome. Registered attendees will receive an email reminder and any potential weather updates.

Please note: Participants under 18 years old MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times.

This tour is led outdoors on uneven terrain. We recommend wearing sun and bug protection, sturdy shoes, and to bring a reusable water bottle.

Preserve staff will meet participants in front of the Beach Kiosk at 9:50 a.m. for check-in before providing a welcome and brief introduction to the tour.
