










Halpatiokee Regional Park is the largest park in Martin County with 65 acres of active park land surrounded by 500 acres of preserve area. This park has many different options for hikes in terms of distance and scenery and also has mountain biking specific trails. Additionally, Halpatiokee borders the South Fork of the St. Lucie River offering not only scenic views, but an amazing option for paddling. Atlantic Ridge State Park is on the other side of the river, so there is miles of forested shoreline with oaks draped in Spanish moss, airplants and orchids, towering pines and chances to see wildlife. Halpatiokee can keep you busy all day and does not disappoint!
