Water Ambassador Program Field Trip

Martin County and UF/IFAS are pleased to announce a Water Ambassador field trip.
Where: Phipps Park Stormwater Treatment Area, 2175 SW Locks Rd, Stuart, FL.
When: Tuesday, June 30, 10 am – 12 pm.
*We will meet at the Phipps park Campground
Join us for a guided tour of the Phipps Park Stormwater Treatment Area (STA). During this trip you will learn how treatment wetlands are constructed as an innovative way to remove nutrients from stormwater before it enters the St. Lucie River.
This will be about a walking tour. Participants are encouraged to wear closed-toed shoes and bring a hat and/or sunscreen and water bottle. It will be hot!
Registration is required to participate and is limited to 15 people. If you register and are unable to attend please let us know so that we can ensure all spaces are filled.
