On this guided nature walk, we will discover the rich history of this beautiful area with local Martin County historian, Chessy Ricca. You will be able to imagine how this preserve, and the town surrounding it, has changed through the decades to become what we know today. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to connect with nature and learn about fascinating local history!
DETAILS
- FREE program, but reservations are required
- This program will begin at 8:30am and last until approximately 10:30am
- The length of this nature walk is about 1-2 miles across various natural surfaces, primarily sand
- Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear
- Bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray
- Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult
- No pets
- All participants will be required to sign electronic waivers that will be sent prior to the program
