Join us for Explore Natural Martin’s Seasonal Birding Series, a birding adventure designed for all levels of birders! Running through April, this series showcases a variety of Florida’s unique ecosystems, each home to an exciting mix of resident and migratory birds. Whether you’re adding new species to your life list or simply enjoying the thrill of a birding adventure, this series offers the perfect opportunity to connect with nature and experience the best of birding in Martin County.
February’s program will feature the Florida scrub habitat at Savannas Preserve State Park- Hawks Bluff Trail. The Hawks Bluff trail showcases a variety of beautiful Florida habitats including scrub, pine flatwoods, oak hammock and basin wetlands. This program will begin at 8:30am and last until approximately 10:30am
The length of this nature walk is about 1-1.5 miles across various natural surfaces, including uneven trail with sand, roots, and compact dirt
Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear
Bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray
Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult
No pets
All participants will be required to sign waivers that will be provided at the start of the program
