Join us for Explore Natural Martin’s Seasonal Birding Series, a birding adventure designed for all levels of birders! Running through April, this series showcases a variety of Florida’s unique ecosystems, each home to an exciting mix of resident and migratory birds. Whether you’re adding new species to your life list or simply enjoying the thrill of a birding adventure, this series offers the perfect opportunity to connect with nature and experience the best of birding in Martin County.
April’s program features our beautiful tropical hardwood hammock on the Canopy Trail in Allapattah Flats Wildlife Management Area. Here you will walk through the towering cabbage palms, oak trees and hickories looking and listening for some of our resident and migratory bird species.

FREE program, but reservations are required
This program will begin at 8:00am and last until approximately 11:00am
This trail is approximatley 2.5 miles long and is all natural surfaces including grass, dirt, mud and possibly shallow water.
Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear
Bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray
Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult
No pets
All participants will be required to sign waivers that will be provided at the start of the program
