Community Science: Great Backyard Bird Count at Blowing Rocks Preserve!
15 Feb

Calling all birders! (and anyone interested in viewing wildlife)

Join The Nature Conservancy (TNC) at Blowing Rocks Preserve for a morning of birding along our trails with Audubon of Martin County! We’ll be keeping track of what birds we see on this walk to submit data for the Audubon Society’s annual Great Backyard Bird Count!

To learn more about the Great Backyard Bird Count visit: birdcount.org

Prepare to spend your time in the sun navigating sandy, uneven terrain and keep in mind your feet always have the potential to get wet.
Please come prepared wearing comfortable clothes for outdoor conditions, bring a reusable water bottle, and pack bug spray if needed. You are welcome to bring your personal pair of binoculars. TNC will also provide group binoculars to share.

*Light to moderate physical activity.
*Recommended for ages 5+, all youth under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
