BESIDE MYSELF: A TRIBUTE TO BILLY JOEL & ELTON JOHN

Two legendary songbooks come together on the Barn Theatre stage for a special weekend of music celebrating Elton John and Billy Joel. Nationally renowned tribute artist Jonathan Elgart takes to the piano for Beside Myself: A Tribute to Billy Joel & Elton John, joined by saxophonist Joe Menendez. Together, they bring audiences a live musical journey through decades of unforgettable hits from two of the most celebrated singer-songwriters in popular music. From Piano Man, You May Be Right and Just the Way You Are to Your Song, I’m Still Standing, Candle in the Wind, and Philadelphia Freedom, the concert is filled with the songs that became the soundtrack to generations.
Elgart has performed in a host of theaters, performing arts centers, and festivals across the country, with appearances in many cities including Buffalo, Toledo, Daytona, Chicago, Green Bay, Dallas and Houston. And this October, we’re thrilled to welcome him to the Barn Theatre for three special performances, Friday evening, October 16th at 8:00PM, and matinee performances on Saturday and Sunday. October 17th and 18th at 2:00PM
Even better, enjoying the music helps support what comes next for the Barn. According to Terry Weber, President of the Barn, “proceeds from this special event are earmarked for the Barn Theatre’s New Vision capital improvement campaign, helping us continue investing in the future of the theater and the experiences we create for our community.” Indeed, a generous donor has pledged $100,000 to the theater if the Barn attains $200,000 in donations by December 31st. Mr. Weber noted “we are only $35,000 shy of that mark.”
