Allapattah Flats is a passive recreation area featuring parking facilities and a nature trail which also provides opportunities for hiking, biking and primitive camping. This area provides seasonal hunting and will allow for equestrian trails along the northern perimeter of the project. This site is a cooperative effort of the Martin County Board of County Commissioners, the South Florida Water Management District and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
