Wild Florida in Bloom: Exploring Fall Wildflowers with CJ & Friends
Time:
9:30 am - 11:30 am
Free
There’s a reason October is Florida Native Plant Month- and it’s because Florida’s fall wildflowers are spectacular! Join Explore Natural Martin and CJ McCartney as we celebrate and explore the beautiful wildflowers of Pal-Mar East (Nine Gems). This 3,200-acre natural area is part of a larger 125,000-acre greenway stretching from the Intracoastal Waterway to Lake Okeechobee and is located at the headwaters of Cypress Creek. From wetlands to pine flatwoods, we’ll explore a variety of Florida habitats while discovering and learning about the wildflowers that call them home.
