Lagoon Tours: 2:00 P.M. – 2:30 P.M. – meet in front of Hawley Education Center
Experience what South Florida barrier islands looked like a century ago. Join this tour of our carefully restored preserve to discover its unique features. Along the way, we will discuss restoration efforts, plants and animals of importance, The Nature Conservancy’s local and worldwide conservation efforts, and ways you can help protect our natural resources.
FREE! All ages welcome! (*Recommended for ages 5 and up)
No advance registration, walk-ins welcome!
Please note: Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by and adult at all times.
This tour is led outdoors on uneven terrain. We recommend wearing sun and bug protection, sturdy shoes, and to bring a reusable water bottle.
