3rd Annual Community Tree Lighting Ceremony in Downtown Jensen Beach (12/7)
Get into the holiday spirit as we light the 34-foot tree in downtown Jensen Beach! The Martin County Board of County Commissioners invites you to attend the 3rd Annual Community Tree Lighting Ceremony on Tuesday, December 7 at 6:15 p.m. Attendees can enjoy music by Jensen Beach High School’s Jubilate Choir, as well as other activities during the Taste of Jensen!
Taste of Jensen (12/7)
The Taste of Jensen, a Jensen Beach holiday tradition, will be held outdoors in Downtown Jensen Beach, Tuesday, December 7, 2021. Patrons will get the opportunity to taste and sample food and beverages from the finest eateries in Jensen Beach and be entertained with live holiday music. The Taste of Jensen opens at 5:30pm and concludes at 8pm. Each year participating restaurants compete for awards including People’s Choice, Best Presentation, Best Appetizer, Best Featured Entrée, Best Dessert, and Best Beverage.
Carnival of Lights (11/26-12/19)
Don’t miss this must-attend holiday tradition for the whole family! Held at the Martin County Fairgrounds from November 26 through December 19, visitors can stroll along the 800-foot walkway of dazzling light displays. Enjoy live musical performances, grab a bite from one of the festive food trucks, and shop for the perfect holiday gift at the Christmas Crafters area. The little ones can also enjoy free activities, games and crafting projects like making keepsake ornaments!
Martin County Parks and Recreation Winter Fest (12/10)
Celebrate the holidays in true South Florida style at Martin County Parks and Recreation’s Winter Fest, held at beautiful Indian Riverside Park. This free event is open to all! There will be activities of all sorts including arts and crafts, face painting, holiday photo stations, variety of games, dance performance by a local dance company, photo opportunities with Santa, food trucks, and so much more! Bring your blankets, chairs, and all members of your family to celebrate the holidays together.
2nd Annual Santa’s City Lights (12/10-12/28)
This newer community tradition is back at Memorial Park in downtown Stuart! Stroll through a forest of illuminated trees, visit with Santa, and enjoy a holiday movie in the park! Opening night is December 10 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm, but the forest of trees will stay lit and on display through December 28 for all to enjoy throughout the holiday season!
Martin County Christmas Boat Parade (12/11)
All mariners are encouraged to decorate their vessels, large or small, and enjoy some good family fun during the annual Martin County Holiday Boat Parade. The public is invited to view the parade boats at restaurants, parks, and from other locations along the route, including the Stuart Causeway. Participating vessels will assemble just south of the Jensen Beach Causeway. Boats will proceed southeasterly following the official channel markers before ending in the Manatee Pocket. The parade will end with an after party at The Twisted Tuna in Port Salerno. The event is free for spectators and participants and is organized by the Marine Industries Association of the Treasure Coast.
Cookies with Santa (12/12)
Celebrate the holiday season at the Children’s Museum of the Treasure Coast during the “Cookies with Santa” event! The festive afternoon will take place on December 12 from 1pm to 3pm. Kids can enjoy a meet and greet with Santa and other fun activities, like cookie decorating and a very special story time with Santa himself!
GFWC Woman’s Club of Stuart’s 13th Annual Holiday Home Tour (12/12)
This year’s Holiday Home Tour once again offers an exclusive look into some of the most beautifully decorated homes on the Treasure Coast. Travel to all five homes and back to the GFWC Woman’s Club of Stuart clubhouse for the post-tour reception via air-conditioned motorcoach. If you prefer to drive yourself, gather a few friends and make a day of it! The experience includes tours of all five homes and the post-event reception and silent auction.
