The 2026 Treasure Coast Songwriters Festival Returns May 14–17
You know the songs. You’ve sung them in the car, played them at backyard cookouts, danced to them at weddings. But do you know the people who actually wrote them?
That’s the magic of the 5th Annual Treasure Coast Songwriters Festival — and it’s happening right here in Martin County, May 14–17, 2026. Free. Waterfront. Unforgettable.

What Makes This Festival Different
Most music festivals put you at a distance from the artists. This one puts you in the same room with the people who built the soundtrack of country music — and then asks them to explain how they did it. Presented by iHeartMedia’s WAVE 92.7 and BMI, the Treasure Coast Songwriters Festival is a four-day celebration of the craft behind the music. Over 40 performances. Twelve acclaimed BMI songwriters from Nashville and Florida. Each set is part concert, part storytelling — artists performing their hits and pulling back the curtain on how those songs came to life. It’s intimate. It’s personal. And it’s completely free.
Meet the Songwriters
This year’s lineup features some of the most accomplished writers in Nashville, including Aaron Barker, Ashland Craft, Claire Liparulo, Dylan Altman, Frank Myers, Hunter Smith, James Slater, Jimmy Nash, Julianne Ankley, Nelson Cade III, Sean Holcomb, and Sheena Brook. Collectively, these writers have penned chart-topping hits for artists like George Strait, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley, and Keith Urban — songs you’ve heard thousands of times, written by people you’re about to meet in person. Where It All Happens
The festival takes place across two of Port Salerno’s most beloved waterfront venues: Pirates Cove Resort and Marina (4307 SE Bayview St, Stuart, FL 34997) and The Pearl Waterfront Bar (4745 SE Desoto Ave, Stuart, FL 34997). Between the water views, the laid-back atmosphere, and the live music, it’s hard to imagine a better way to spend a May weekend on the Treasure Coast.
