World Oceans Day Beach Clean-up at Blowing Rocks Preserve!
07 Jun

Enjoy a self-guided stroll in the outdoors through the trails and beaches of Blowing Rocks Preserve to collect debris that has been washed ashore or left behind. Your contribution helps to beautify our beaches and prevent wildlife disasters. Volunteers will be instructed by preserve staff upon arrival and given collection supplies. Volunteers may participate for as long or short as you’d like between 8:30 – 10:30 a.m.

Prepare to spend your time in the sun walking on uneven sandy terrain, and keep in mind your feet always have the potential to get wet. Don’t forget to pack 1-2 reusable water bottles to stay hydrated! (Blowing Rocks Preserve will provide a water cooler for refills.)

FREE volunteer opportunity, welcome to all!
*we will sign for service hours!
*Light to moderate physical activity.
*Recommended ages 6+.

Advance registration is required, but walk-ins are welcome if supplies remain.
