Summer Nature Walk: Florida’s Woodpeckers

Did you know that we have eight species of woodpeckers in Florida and can see six of those here in Martin County? Join us on this summer morning to venture into the woods to listen for and hopefully see some of our iconic woodpecker species. Bring your binoculars if you have them and be ready to learn about these fun and charismatic birds.

FREE program, reservations required

Begins at 8:00am and will last until approximately 10:00am

The length of this nature walk is about 1.5 miles across various natural surfaces, including uneven trail with sand, roots, compact dirt.

Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear

Bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray

Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult

No pets

All participants will be required to sign electronic waivers that will be sent out prior to the program
