Join us at Delaplane Preserve on September 18 to enjoy a quiet nature walk through scenic pine flatwoods and towards the St. Lucie River. Along our route, we will delve into the rich history and different stories surrounding the river and the estuary. Come and engage with this amazing story that spans centuries, from the indigenous tribes that first inhabited the area to the unique challenges that the river faces in today’s modern world.

This program will begin at 8:30am and last until approximately 10:00am

The length of this nature walk is about 0.75 miles across various natural surfaces

Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear

Bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray

Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult

No pets

All participants will be required to sign electronic waivers that will be sent prior to the program
