Dr. Anne Cox will share information about her work and research in, “Population Augmentation and Pilot Plantings for the Federally Endangered Four-petal Pawpaw. This endangered species grows in protected areas of coastal South Florida
Then, on Saturday, October 5th, at 8:45am, Dr. Cox will lead a Field Trip at Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge on US 1.
This will be the 1st monthly meeting & field trip of our Native Plant Society’s 2019-20 Program Season. We have an outstanding program of speakers & field trips planned.
Each meeting has a Native Plant exchange table, a resource table with Native Plant books, brochures, & information, & helpful volunteers to answer questions.
Our meetings are held the 1st Tuesday of the month, 6:30pm, except for December, at Indian River State College, Chastain Campus, on Salerno Road in Stuart.
