The East Coast Greenway stretches 3,000 miles from Maine to Key West, connecting local communities along the coast with a safe and accessible multiuse trail, boosting the economy, recreation opportunities, and sustainable transportation. Here in Martin County, the East Coast Greenway winds through many of our vibrant downtowns and beautiful parks and preserves, making it the perfect avenue for exploration. While not fully complete, new additions are continuously in the works.

Green River Parkway

Marking the beginning of the East Coast Greenway, this section borders Savannas Preserve State Park, offering amazing views of nature and opportunities to spot wildlife.

With a short detour, you can enter the state park along Jensen Beach Boulevard, or continue along the greenway towards downtown Stuart!

Dixie Highway

Beginning just south of downtown Port Salerno, this section of the East Coast Greenway takes you inside Seabranch Preserve State Park.

Away from the road, this section is peaceful and scenic, and if you’re lucky, you might spot one of the resident gopher tortoises!
