Florida Wetland Birding Walk

Join us for Explore Natural Martin’s Seasonal Birding Series, a birding adventure designed for all levels of birders! Running through April, this series showcases a variety of Florida’s unique ecosystems, each home to an exciting mix of resident and migratory birds. Whether you’re adding new species to your life list or simply enjoying the thrill of a birding adventure, this series offers the perfect opportunity to connect with nature and experience the best of birding in Martin County.

November’s program will feature the Florida wetland habitat at Lakeside Ranch STA in western Martin County. Lakeside Ranch is a vast birding haven and offers opportunities to see birds such as snail kites, ducks, herons, eagles, and more.

FREE program, but reservations are required

This program will begin at 8:00am and last until approximately 11:00am

This program will involve some driving and walking on hard pack dirt road and grass for up to 1.5 miles

Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear

Bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray

Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult

No pets

All participants will be required to sign waivers that will be provided at the start of the program
