We’re inviting artists to submit their work for our upcoming art contest, celebrating the beauty—and challenges—of our ocean environment.

Submission Window:
June 8 – 21
All entries must be submitted through the Florida Oceanographic Society website.

Artwork Guidelines:

• Artwork must be hangable and no larger than 20″ in width or height.
• No photography will be accepted.“>
• Submissions must:
  • Be submitted at the Coastal Center (890 NE Ocean Blvd. Stuart, FL, 34996) between the hours of 10am and 4pm.
  • Include the artist’s name and contact information.
  • Include a brief description of the piece either presented with the art, or submitted at the link below.

Categories:

Artists may submit work in one of the following three categories:

• Above the Waves: Animals or seascapes above the ocean’s surface
• Below the Waves: Marine life or underwater environments
• Waste of the Waves: Pollution and the human impact on our oceans

Awards:

• One winner will be selected from each category.
• Let your creativity flow and help raise awareness for our oceans—one brushstroke at a time.
