October 5 and 12
Port Salerno Ghost Tours
Get ready for a truly spine-tingling encounter! Join Port Salerno Ghost Tours for two paranormal investigation walking tours on October 5 and 12. Hear tales of hauntings, bootleggers, and other characters who once roamed the streets of Martin County. Participants will get ghost meters and other tools used in paranormal investigations like the ones seen on the popular TV shows. FireFest 2024 at Jonathan Dickinson State Park
FireFest is an annual family event to celebrate Florida’s relationship with fire. Learn about the importance of prescribed fire (controlled burns), safety awareness, and how important fire truly is to our local ecosystem and wildlife. Expect to see thrilling live fire demos, hayrides, swamp buggy tours through the park, pumpkin patches, campfires, food and drinks, ghost tours, and much more! 5th Annual Hobe Sound Hometown Festival
Come out and join in the activities celebrating what makes Hobe Sound such a fabulous destination! This free community event will be held at William G. “Doc” Myers Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be vendors, crafters, a petting zoo, vintage cars, games, food trucks, and more! Trick or Treat Stroll
Join The Children’s Museum of the Treasure Coast for a fun evening at the annual Trick-or-Treat Stroll on October 21 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m! Tickets will be priced at $3 for non-members and Members are free. All attendees are encouraged to come dressed in their most creative and spooky costumes. October 25
Fall Fest and Movie Night
Grab the little ghouls and goblins and head to Fall Fest and Movie Night, organized by the Martin County Parks & Recreation team. The fun kicks off at 5:30 p.m. at Langford Park in Jensen Beach. This free event is a fan favorite, with food trucks, costume contest, food trucks, and more. Hocus Pocus 2 will be shown on a 20-foot screen starting at 8 p.m. Learn more here.

Hobgoblins on Main Street
The 25th Annual Hobgoblins on Main Street, presented by Stuart Main Street and The Historic Downtown Business Association of Stuart, will take place on October 26 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Downtown Stuart. Parents are invited to bring their kiddos, family, and friends for an unforgettable, festive afternoon! The much-loved family festival features the annual merchant trick-or-treating and the Hobgoblin Parade, where children assemble outside at the Riverwalk Stage and continue down Osceola Street, ending at Haney Circle. Activities will include pumpkin decorating treat bags, face painting, photo opportunities, games, and a costume contest for your kiddos and your four-legged furry friends! Learn more here.

Fall Fest & Movie Night
Head over to Langford Park for the annual Fall Fest & Movie Night event. The park will be filled with a variety of activities and food trucks that will satisfy your appetite. Kids of all ages can enjoy the Kids Fun Zone, a Fall Arts and Craft station, and much more! Come dressed up in your favorite Halloween costume for the all-ages costume contest! To make this great event even better, enjoy some holiday and festive music with a live DJ playing all the top hits. Autumn Birding Nature Walk with Explore Natural Martin
Don’t miss this morning birding adventure led by the President of the Martin County Audubon, John Nelson. Bring your binoculars and get ready to see some of Florida’s resident and migratory birds in this diverse southern section of Savannas Preserve State Park. Trunk or Treat with the Martin County Sheriff’s Office
