Stuart Green Market
Stuart’s famous year-round Green Market serves up a bevy of local delights each Sunday from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Local vendors like PJ Honey Ranch, Ground Floor Farm, Tony’s Produce, La Montagne Des Saveurs and more sell everything from fresh honey to organic produce to fine, french cheese. Shadowood Farm & Organic Food Market
Shadowood Farm in Palm City, Florida is devoted to teaching people how to grow their own food using organic practices. Shadowood offers individual raised garden plot rental spaces where dedicated people can learn and grow their own food using organic practices from mid-September through mid-May. No experience is needed, but total devotion to the process and farm policies is required. While these rental plot spaces are often full, Shadowood offers how-to garden workshops and an impressive retail space.
