FireFest at Jonathan Dickinson State Park
FireFest is an annual community family event to celebrate Florida’s relationship with fire. Learn about the importance of prescribed fire (controlled burns), safety awareness, and how important fire truly is to our local ecosystem and wildlife. Expect live fire demos, hayrides, swamp buggy tours through the park, pumpkin patches, campfires, food and drinks, ghost tours, and much more! Park admission is $6 per vehicle (and bringing cash is encouraged).

4th Annual Hobe Sound Hometown Festival
Come out and join in the activities celebrating what makes Hobe Sound such a fabulous destination! This free community event will be held at William G. “Doc” Myers Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be vendors, crafters, a petting zoo, vintage cars, games, food trucks, and more!

Spooktacular Night at the Park
Looking for a Halloween event for the whole family? Look no further than our annual Spooktacular: Night at the Park Event! Join us at the Stuart Shuffleboard Center for a custom Haunted House (this year’s theme is Classic Thrillers), watch a movie, enjoy food trucks, and go trunk or treating with community partners on our Spooky Trail! Be sure to wear a costume for an extra fun time!

Trick or Treat Stroll
Join The Children’s Museum for a fun evening at our Trick-or-Treat Stroll on October 29th from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m! Tickets will be priced at $3 for non-members and Members are free. Enjoy Trick-or-Treat stations at exhibits throughout the museum! This event will also have a virtual costume contest, food trucks, and of course some spook-tacular decorations!

Join the Explore Natural Martin team and the Treasure Coast Astronomical Society for a night under the stars to learn about one of our most significant celestial bodies: the moon. Participants will also have the opportunity to view the moon closer than ever before through a high-powered telescope. Bring the whole family and celebrate Halloween with the Hobe Sound Nature Center at the Annual Creepy Creature Feature free event! Visitors will get a chance to meet live animals, make some crafts, play games, interact with creepy crawlers, and get glitter tattoos. There will also be a costume contest – just note that capacity will be limited so reservations are required.

Fall Fest & Movie Night
Head over to Langford Park for the annual Fall Fest & Movie Night event. The park will be filled with a variety of activities and food trucks that will satisfy your appetite. Kids of all ages can enjoy the Kids Fun Zone, a Fall Arts and Craft station, and much more! Come dressed up in your favorite Halloween costume for the all-ages costume contest! To make this great event even better, enjoy some holiday and festive music with a live DJ playing all the top hits. At 8pm, they will start showing “The Addams Family 2” on a massive 20-foot LED screen!

The recently opened Pylos Greek Kuzina in Palm City is hosting a Trunk or Treat Halloween Party. Come in your best costume to compete in their costume contest for children and adults with $500 in gift card prizes! The Rocky Horror Picture Show at The Barn Theatre
Spice up your Halloween celebrations and come experience what audiences have raved about every two years, The Barn Theatre’s seasonal production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, with its zany live shadow cast. Why not start your Halloween with a peaceful morning beach walk? October 31 marks the last official day of sea turtle nesting season! Feel free to bring your coffee or tea as you stroll along the beach. Explore Natural Martin guides will recap the 2024 sea turtle season and discuss some of the many spooky (and cool) creatures you may find on our beaches. This free program is perfect for all ages, but make sure to register in advance.

Everyone is invited to come by and fill your bags with Halloween treats from the Martin County Sheriff’s Office and local businesses! This is a free family event and will be held on Halloween from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Don’t forget your costume!
