VolunTEEN Program – Native Plant Workshop

Join us and Martin County’s Native Plant Society as we discover why native plants make all the difference in habitat restoration and preservation–for birds and other wildlife. During our session we will learn strategies for in the field identification of native plants like Wild coffee, Porterweed, Milkweed, Rouge berry, and more! Once you become confident in your abilities as a native plant afficianado you and your team will set off on a native plant scavenger hunt to seek out a prize for most plants identified!
*Snacks Provided*
Please come with plenty of water (preferably in a resuable container) & sunscreen!
Wear closed toe shoes and clothing you don’t mind getting sweaty in.
