Unwritten Discoveries: Historical Nature Walk

While there is little written about the history of Gomez Preserve, there is much to be discovered! On this guided nature walk, we will be joined by Chessy Ricca with the Historical Society of Martin County to learn about the unique history of this site. Throughout the tour, you will also get to experience the natural beauty of this small but scenic preserve.
DETAILS
- FREE program, but reservations are required
- This program will begin at 9:00am and last until approximately 10:00am
- The length of this nature walk is about 0.5-1 miles across primarily hard packed shellrock
- Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear
- Bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray
- Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult
- No pets
- All participants will be required to sign waivers that will be provided at the start of the program
