Children’s Home Society of Florida will hold its third annual Treasure Coast 5K Run/1 Mile Walk on Saturday, April 21 at Indian Riverside Park in Jensen Beach. The event is held in April each year to help bring awareness to National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
The event will feature a timed 5k run/walk through the scenic hills at Jensen Riverside Park, a Kid’s Fun Run, participant t-shirts and race medals, awards for top runners and fundraising incentives, Zumba warm up, family activities, and a pancake after party. Hero’s themed costumes are encouraged.
Event check-in will begin at 6:30 a.m. on April 21 at Indian Riverside Park.
Proceeds from this event will benefit Children’s Home Society of Florida’s effort to build strong families in our community. More than one million lives have changed because of CHS, including 11,000 every year in Treasure Coast and Okeechobee. Over the past century, CHS has been the leader in encouraging success in families through our programs.
