The public is invited to join in the 2nd Colorado Crawl in downtown Stuart. Businesses along Colorado Avenue from the 300 block to the 800 block are holding OPEN HOUSE and welcoming Crawlers to discover their businesses. Each participating crawl stop gives out Free refreshments, samples, demos, giveaways, and special offers to the crawl participants.
Priscilla Speicher, owner of NOTES Music Room (the origination point for the crawl) is passionate about Colorado Ave and her neighboring businesses. She explains that it is a beautiful street to stroll, very pedestrian friendly, and lined with many great retail and service businesses – yet the street is underutilized.
The Colorado Crawl is designed to change that fact, and encourage more visitors to this unofficial Arts & Entertainment district. The fountain, sculptures, bridge and benches and crosswalks make the Ave an ideal destination for a “fun walk with pitstops”.
The Colorado Crawl takes place from 3:30 to 7 PM on Sat. Oct. 21. Must be 21 to participate. Crawlers must come to NOTES first. Your $10 event fee (cash please to expedite payments during this busy time) includes a 6 oz. beer, sangria or iced coffee, and a Crawl souvenier cup. You will receive your list of crawl stops, and off you go!
