Growing up in these waters, Kara Grace Muzia is a local surfer, paddler, and marine biologist. Kara Grace brings an amazing amount of knowledge and experience working in and studying the marine and estuarine environment. Her experience has ranged from studying water quality in the Gulf of Mexico, to restoring oyster reefs in the Chesapeake Bay, to sea turtle research in South Florida, and even some time in Africa. She’s currently on the Board of Directors for the Environmental Studies Council and actively produces a podcast entitled So You Want to Be a Marine Biologist geared towards those interested in ocean science, careers, and conservation. Manatee Pocket Eco-Tour
Our signature Manatee Pocket Tour offers the perfect combination of coaching on paddle boarding technique while learning about our breathtaking back waterways from a marine biologist. We begin on-land with a brief introduction to your paddleboarding equipment, followed by a guided tour around Manatee Pocket. In addition to paddle boarding tips and instruction, your guide, a local marine biologist, will share her knowledge of the local waterways and its residents. Enjoy a truly amazing opportunity to appreciate the iconic Florida wildlife and learn more about wild Florida.

Ages 12+ to paddle solo, under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, all minors under 18 must have guardian permission.
