Join Us for a Scrub Jay Adventure!
Ever seen a Florida Scrub-Jay up close? Now’s your chance! Join us for a guided hike as we search for these beautiful and rare birds, endemic to Florida’s scrub habitats. Along the way, you’ll learn about the important conservation efforts we’re making to protect these unique creatures.
When: 9:00 AM on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month, from October through May
Where: Meet at the Scrub Jay Trailhead (small parking lot on the way to Pine Grove Campground)
Parking: If the trailhead lot is full, please park in the lot next to the Ranger Station and take a short walk to the trailhead.
No reservations are required, but if you have a large group, please give us a heads-up by calling 561-745-5551.
