Martin County Florida
Florida friendly native-focused landscape design with Amanda Martin
07 May

Are you a part of a generation committed to ecological sustainability? Considering a native garden for your new home? Want to rethink part or all of an existing yard to attract birds, pollinators, or reduce mowing?

Whether you plan to do it yourself or hire a landscape designer the process of creating any garden benefits from planning. The planning is made easier with the experience and know-how of a professional.

Bring your ideas and questions to the May meeting of MCFNPS as Amanda Martin shares her insights and stories about planning native plant gardens.

Amanda Martin, holds a degree in Environmental Science from the University of Florida. Since then she’s worked as biologist, research scientist and horticulturalist. Martin is owner of Grounded Solutions, a Florida native-focused landscape consultation and design company in Orlando. In addition to being a business woman she organized a community garden, maintains beehives, and serves as president of the Tarflower Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society.

Join us as we bring our appreciation of Florida’s native plants and native plant communities to the attention of our neighbors. Public is welcome
