The completed 250-foot mural in downtown Stuart painted by renown artist Lynne Barletta with Visionary School of Arts and founder of Catch the Wave of Hope, will be unveiled. Sponsorships of individual fish, reptile and mammals will be donated at 100% to Catch the Wave of Hope.
The mural is being painted by Lynne Barletta, a renowned artist and founder of Catch the Wave of Hope, an organization dedicated bringing healing, awareness, and action to end human trafficking.
Located on the AT&T building at 316 Akron Ave., the mural includes colorful fish and a giant wave representing an inspiration to human trafficking victims, according to Barletta. The mural will raise funds to help Catch the Wave of Hope operate a local transition home for trafficked child survivors.
