Chef Olivia Binn-Ostrow’s versatility as a chef is a genuine reflection of the diverse and colorful life she has led. Oliva, a native of Paris, France, she first learned to cook at a young age at home in the family kitchen with her mother, a prototypical French country chef, and reaped the benefits of high-level, hands-on experience with a mentor and friend – who also happened to be a top chef of a fine French restaurant. Though she quickly became an expert at preparing French cuisine, Olivia’s early affinity for American culture and a desire to explore it has taken her on a journey that she calls, `an eclectic collection of things in my life,’ culminating with the opening of O Restaurant, in downtown Stuart.
